0.4.6

Makes DZC easier to find as a DayZ and Arma 3 launcher, and records anonymous website views and first-run installs.

Added

  • Website titles and search metadata now lead with DayZ launcher and Arma 3 launcher.
  • The first launch after install can send one anonymous install count to DZC. Website views and download clicks are counted the same way, without advertising cookies or stored IP addresses.

Upgrade notes

  • See the Privacy Policy for what the anonymous website and install counts include.
  • Microsoft Store search terms were updated; Store certification can take extra time.

0.4.0

stable

Makes joining servers clearer and adds useful population intelligence across DZCLauncher and the web.

Added

  • Check DayZ, BattlEye, your player name, the signed launch manifest, required mods, and available disk space before joining.
  • See which required Workshop mods are already ready, missing, or need an update before DZC starts the game.
  • Inspect 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day server population history with availability, averages, peaks, busiest hours, and capacity changes.
  • Compare the current population with what is typical for the same time of day and see whether activity is rising, steady, or falling.
  • See server, map, player-capacity, and required-mod changes since the last time you successfully joined a server.

Improved

  • Prepare & Join now updates outdated Workshop content instead of checking only for missing mods.
  • Workshop metadata for a server is inspected in batches so large mod lists do not require one Steam query per mod.
  • The selected-server panel now explains what DZC will do before launch instead of hiding preparation behind the Join button.
  • Server history is aggregated in the API so popular servers can expose long-range charts without loading tens of thousands of raw snapshots per request.
  • The public server page now presents the same population intelligence as the launcher.

Upgrade notes

  • No launcher migration is required. DZC stores the last successful server state locally to power the Since Last Played view.
  • Server intelligence fills from collected status snapshots; historical gaps from before deployment cannot be reconstructed.
